When draining the ammonia system, the operator should wear glasses and rubber gloves, stand on the side of the drain pipe and work, and must not leave the operating location during the draining process. After draining, the draining time and the amount of oil drained should be recorded.
1. Open the return valve of the oil collector and close it after the pressure drops to the suction pressure.
2. Open the drain valve of the equipment to be drained. The oil should be drained one by one and not at the same time to avoid mutual influence.
3. Slowly open the oil inlet valve of the oil collector and pay close attention to the changes in the pressure gauge pointer on the oil collector. When the pressure is high and it is difficult to enter the oil, close the oil inlet valve and continue to reduce the pressure. Repeat the operation in sequence to gradually drain the oil in the equipment.
4. The oil intake of the oil collector should not exceed 70% of its height.
5. When the pipe behind the oil inlet valve of the oil collector is damp or frosted, it means that the oil in the equipment has been basically drained, and the drain valve of the draining equipment and the oil inlet valve of the oil collector should be closed.
6. Slightly open the oil collector return valve to evaporate the ammonia liquid in the oil collector.
7. When the pressure in the oil collector is stable, close the return valve. Let it stand for about 20 minutes, observe the pressure rise in the oil collector, and slightly open the oil collector return valve to evaporate the ammonia liquid in the oil collector.
If the pressure rises significantly, it means that there is still a lot of ammonia liquid in the oil. At this time, the pressure should be reduced again to drain the ammonia liquid. If the pressure does not rise again, it means that the ammonia liquid in the oil collector has been basically drained, and the oil drain valve of the oil collector can be opened to start draining the oil. After the oil is drained, close the drain valve.
