Condenser maintenance and care: The cooling water used in the water-cooled condenser contains various impurities that will settle in the condenser copper tube over time, which is what people call scale. If there is too much scale, the condensation effect will be poor, the exhaust pressure in the system will increase, and the exhaust temperature will directly affect the refrigeration effect. Therefore, regular maintenance and scale removal are required, generally once a year.
There are three cleaning methods:
1. Use a cleaning brush to drag back and forth to clean the condenser copper tube.
2. Use a special scraper to roll and scrape to clean. This method is generally not used to clean the condenser copper tube.
3. Use chemical methods to clean the condenser copper tube.
The formula of chemical cleaning solution for condensing copper tubes: 500kg of 10% hydrochloric acid aqueous solution plus 250kg of corrosion inhibitor (the ratio is 1kg of hydrochloric acid aqueous solution plus 0.5g of corrosion inhibitor). The corrosion inhibitor can be hexamethylenetetramine (also known as urotropine). When cleaning, directly connect the acid pump to the condenser. The acid pump circulation time is about 25~30 hours. Finally, use 1% NaOH solution or 5% Na2C03 to clean and circulate for 15 minutes to neutralize the acid remaining in the condenser. You can also use a special descaling agent to circulate for 40~60 minutes.
Cleaning method of air-cooled condenser: Use high-pressure air to blow away the scale on the condenser fins or use a special cleaning agent to clean.
