Disposal of damaged goods in supermarkets

Damaged commodities in supermarkets refer to commodities that are damaged in the circulation process, lack quality, and exceed the retention period and cannot be sold normally. Scope of damaged goods

1. Divided into categories: damaged goods, shortages, poor quality, incomplete identification, deterioration, insufficient measurement, counterfeit and inferior goods, “three noes” goods, expired shelf life, inedible, etc.

2. According to the circulation links, it is divided into two parts: before entering the store (including orders placed by the purchasing department, distribution center, and warehouse in the store) and after entering the store (before and after the shelf).

3. According to the degree of damage: it can be returned or not, it can be sold at a reduced price, and it can not be sold at a reduced price.

Responsibilities for the management of damaged goods

According to the commodity circulation link, the department (including the purchasing department, distribution center, and store) is responsible for the management of the circulation link where the damaged commodity occurs.

 

1. The Purchasing Department is responsible for handling: inferior quality, counterfeit, fake and inferior products, and “three noes” products; damage, shortage, deterioration, over-period, and near-period products found within three days of entering the distribution center. Responsible for the adjustment, price reduction, scrapping of the above two commodities, and bear the responsibility for economic losses.

2. The distribution center is responsible for processing: the goods are delivered to the store, and the damaged, short, and inferior goods found during acceptance; the damaged and critical shelf-life goods found during the storage process; the quality is found within three days after the goods are delivered to the warehouse in the store. Products that exceed the alarm line. Responsible for reconciliation and loss of the above three commodities, and bear the responsibility for economic losses.

3. The store department of the store is responsible for solving: damaged goods in the process of direct delivery of goods; damaged or shortage goods after being put on the shelves; before and after being put on the shelves, products that have exceeded the shelf life and deteriorated; artificially caused damage and goods with no use value before and after being put on the shelves; products found after sale Deteriorated or inedible or unusable commodities. Responsible for the adjustment, price reduction, and scrapping of the above five commodities, and bear the responsibility for economic losses.

Principles for Handling Damaged Goods

 

1. Commodities with damaged packaging that are still edible or worthy of use can be put on the shelf after management, and should be sorted and sealed immediately, and continue to be put on the shelf for sale to reduce the loss of goods.

2. All products that are damaged, short of or below the critical shelf life due to inferior quality, fake and inferior products, and “three noes” caused by the supplier’s transportation shall be returned.

3. The damaged goods that can be returned to the supplier shall be sorted and packed in time by the distribution center or store, and the special personnel shall be responsible for handling the return and exchange.

4. For damaged or damaged goods that cannot be returned or exchanged, they will be cut in price or scrapped according to the prescribed authority.
